Jennifer Chaplin is an AeroSTEM parent. She has a BA in Liberal Studies with a Multicultural emphasis, and spent three years after college living and teaching in Japan. She also traveled during that time, mostly solo, including taking the Trans-Siberian Railroad from Vladivostok, Russia, to Moscow. Jennifer moved to Yuba City in 2003 and was the General Manager at Ruthy’s Bar & Oven for nine years. During that time she also volunteered at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop and then joined the Board of Directors of Playzeum, where she was Board Chair for three years. Jennifer is currently the CEO of Botanica Landscapes and the Board Chair for The Sedona Project. She enjoys hosting her son and his friends at their house, reading, cooking, attending quirky festivals and events and pretty much anything to do with the ocean. Jennifer is passionate about the value of skills-based learning and is looking forward to a great future for her and her son at AeroSTEM.
